Help Us Honor Darlene Teti's Memory
It is with shattered hearts that we share the loss of a beloved sister, daughter, mother and friend. Darlene Teti, who took her own life on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
For years Darlene battled severe mental health challenges and was in a deep state of distress in her final days. After seeking help, she was tragically discharged from a mental health facility without proper support — no ride, a dead cell phone, and only a bus pass.
Alone and overwhelmed, Darlene took a bus to the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. She went to the 5th floor parking garage, set down her belongings, and tragically jumped from the ledge.
Our family is devastated. No words can express the pain of losing someone so beautiful, kind, and full of life in such a preventable way. Darlene was a great mother, she deserved better — she deserved compassion, care, and protection when she was at her most vulnerable.
We are asking for support during this unimaginable time.
Funds raised will help with:
Funeral and memorial expenses
Flying Darlene’s children to Las Vegas from Florida, New York, and California so they can say goodbye to their mother and find the closure they so desperately need.
Honoring Darlene’s memory and keeping her spirit alive, especially for her youngest son, who will never get to fully know how much his mother loved him.
Darlene was more than her struggles — she was a mother with a huge heart, a woman who loved deeply, and someone who would do anything for her family and friends. She leaves behind four beautiful children: Kyle, Vinny, Ethan, and her youngest, Saint, who is not yet three years old.
We can’t help but imagine how things might have been different if someone had seen Darlene in distress that day — if just one person could have talked her off that ledge.
Darlene’s four boys have never all been together at once — and now, for the first time, they finally will. It’s something that would have meant everything to her. If only she could see them standing side by side, feel how much love they each have for her. This moment is for her.
Please help us honor Darlene’s memory by sharing the link or making a donation. Your support means more than words can say.

With love and gratitude,
