This fundraiser is in memory of Daniel Smookler.  August 7th would be our birthday and wedding anniversary.  He would be 31 years old. In his memory and celebration of this day  please make a donation to the Point Pleasant Community Association.  We met in Point Pleasant where we were both living 8 years ago at “AppleJacks” and got married here on our birthday 4 years later at “The Local” and on our 29th birthday moved in to the RiverHill Schoolhouse in Point Pleasant.  At 29 years old he left this world with many dreams unfulfilled-yet alive still in the hearts of others.  The last day of his life we spoke passionately about buying a local building to to make into a community center.  He was very proud to be from Bucks County, Pennsylvania  and especially proud to own a beautiful stone schoolhouse rich with local
history here in Point Pleasant.   Unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic has put a stop to PPCA fundraising efforts.  I hope this fundraiser helps now and can happen every year in Dan’s honor to benefit the community.  As his widow I consider this my way of still celebrating our birthday.  
To a place he loved very much and an
organization working to preserve,
protect and enrich it.  

I know many of us think of him often, with many cherished memories.  We continue living with these memories, and in this way he lives forever.
