It is with great sadness to inform everyone that on Saturday evening, September 6th, Daniel Roman and his friends were at North Avenue Beach jumping into the water. After jumping in and getting out multiple times, Daniel jumped in and couldn’t get out due to losing consciousness. He was able to be taken out of the water and transported to Northwestern Hospital, where he stayed until Sunday afternoon, when he unfortunately passed away.

Daniel was only 20 years old.

Daniel Roman was a son, a brother, a friend, a coach, a hard worker, and a kind soul. This sudden event has been a really hard time for the Roman family and everyone that knew Daniel personally.
