Daniel was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a delicate curiosity for Earth’s natural beauty and wonder; a fondness for expression through color and pattern; and a silent unwavering strength that inspired everyone.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of many. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Daniel is survived by his husband Christopher; his parents Matilde and Anastacio; a brother, Andres (Caleb), a sister Yera (Ali); and niece, Leila. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and others whose lives Daniel touched.
