Dear community,

Last week, we experienced the unexpected and tragic loss of Daniel Hodges. His friends and family are shocked and devastated by this news. Daniel had many talents and passions and relished coaching and educating as a way to express his artistic heart. He was a driven, creative friend that touched many lives, minds, and hearts. Those that had the privilege of knowing him have been for ever changed, his impact will last far beyond his 39 years. Daniel will be deeply missed.

To help support our friend and carry his legacy forward, we are establishing this fundraiser to help the Hodges family cover funeral expenses and provide financial relief during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donation will help ensure that Daniel is honored in the way he deserves. A Sioux Falls memorial is being planned with more details on location, date, and time to follow.

To continue Daniel's passion and honor his legacy, any additional funds will establish a scholarship for future students of Apple Valley Speech and Debate.
