Meghan's tribe is putting together this GoFundMe to support their family with expenses through an incredibly tragic experience.

These next words are the hardest to write because we don't think they will ever feel real.

It is with the heaviest heart that we write, Daniel Belknap passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, March 30th. Daniel put so many others above himself. We know Daniel absolutely adored Meghan and the family they created together.

Meghan could not stop smiling when she first met Daniel. He had the biggest smile, brightest laugh, and kindest heart. Everyone knew from the day they met that those two were meant for each other.

A few years later, Daniel transformed into an unforgettable and interactive father when Milie was born and again after Rosie came into this world. He was so gentle and patient, pouring his whole heart into every moment with them. He cherished learning from and showing them new things, like how to build a birdhouse or how to raise an axolotl. His eyes lit up with pure joy and pride at every mention of his girls (including Meghan). They were his world, his greatest love, his everything.

It is without saying, Daniel was a kind soul with fierce loyalty. He approached life with patience and curiosity. His intelligence was beyond his years and fueled remarkable creativity. Anyone in Daniel’s presence has felt the love he had for others and the magnitude of care he held for those around him.

Daniel is irreplaceable and will be remembered for the purity of his heart. His legacy lives on through his daughters, wife, and the memories carried by those who knew him.
