In Memory of Daniel Fusco

Daniel Fusco, age 64, passed away on April 10, 2025. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, to the late Benjamin and Adeline Fusco, he resided in Fair Lawn before moving to Saddle Brook nine years ago.

With a remarkable career, Daniel spent the past 30 years as Vice President of Associa Community Management Corp in Fairfield, NJ. He had a vibrant spirit that defined his life; in his younger days, he entertained as a stand-up comic and DJ and was a part of the comedy troupe “Video Madness” cable show. Additionally, Daniel served on the Garfield YMCA board of directors for many years, showcasing his commitment to the community he loved.

A passionate basketball fan, he organized and hosted a weekly basketball league, reinforcing the importance of fitness in his life as a dedicated member of Retro Fitness. His faith was nurtured in St. Catherine's RC Church in Glen Rock.

Daniel is survived by his loving children, Christina Carlson and her husband Frank, Jacqueline and her partner Dustyn McGraw, and Michael and his partner Sophia Colón. He was a cherished grandfather to Anthony Carlson and a beloved brother to the late Cary Fusco, as well as a proud uncle to BJ Fusco and his wife Jen and Sam Fusco and his partner Amanda.

The family will welcome friends at Vander Plaat Colonial Home, located at 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with eulogies to follow at 7:30 PM. A memorial mass to celebrate Daniel's life will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine's RC Church, Maple Ave, Glen Rock.
