Yesterday, on Mother’s Day, our family unexpectedly lost our beloved Danica Deniece Gonzalez. Born on December 7, 1991, Danica was a bright light to everyone who knew her, full of spirit, positivity, love, and laughter. She always knew how to crack a joke, lift someone’s mood, and make people feel welcomed and cared for. Her loving heart and vibrant personality will forever be remembered.

The past few years have been incredibly difficult for Danica and our family. She experienced the heartbreaking loss of her father, Danny, on April 27, 2021, and most recently the passing of her mother, Adeline, on January 10, 2025. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in believing that Danica is now reunited with her parents and finally at peace in heaven.
