In Memory of Dan Clements

No one can ever be prepared to lose a loved one, especially when that person is 45. On Wednesday, April 31st, the Lord called Daniel Lee Clements, 45, Home. His sudden and unexpected death leaves behind his loving wife, Jennifer, and three girls; Kaitlyn, almost 9 and Sera and Izzy, 7.
Dan is remembered as a loving and devoted father who walked his girls to school daily, read with them at night before tucking them in, and played with them tirelessly. The girls painted their dad's nails and he sat with them at tea parties. He meant the world to them and they to him.
Dan was also a loving husband who supported his wife Jennifer in her work and other endeavors that often included travel for work and weekend outings as their daughters' soccer coach and Girl Scouts leader. Dan and Jenn enjoyed doing chores together that included grocery shopping and cleaning the home. Divide and conquer ... yet let's be together ... was often their theme.
Finally, Dan was a talented engineer who worked for much of his career supporting NASA space projects. Outside of his home and family life it was his greatest passion.
With such a tremendous and sudden loss, Dan's family now faces a very different and unknown future. While they are fortunate to have prepared as best they could at the time, there are so many voids that must now be filled, many of which will impact the family financially.
So many have reached out to Jenn and her extended families looking to help this beautiful family as they move forward in life without Dan. Dan's family had the idea to start this Go Fund Me, with Jennifer's permission, to help with some of those extra, additional, unforeseen expenses the family will now face in Dan's absence. For example, Dan and Jenn have never used a housekeeping service or in-home nanny. With the current circumstance, it is our desire to help them have options such as these, by contributing what we can. Our goal is to take something - anything - off Jenn's very full plate so that with God's peace and strength they can heal and find happiness as they are surrounded by Dan's memory. We also ask you to help us cover Jennifer and the girls with ongoing prayer.
