In Memory of Dakota: Support for His Family

Donation protected
Dakota Ray Smith 18 of Richmond, MI passed away on February 8, 2025 unexpectedly at his home. He was born October 15, 2006. Throughout his 18 years of life Dakota brought so much love and life to everyone who knew him. From birth he had multiple health issues where he had multiple surgeries and procedures every year.
Dakota enjoyed gaming, swimming, karate and playing basketball and baseball. He had a strong Christian Faith and is now with God enjoying a life from no more sickness, pain and suffering.
For many who do not know he was born with a rare condition called VATER Syndrome (also known as VACTERL association), is a complex condition that affects several parts of the body. The affected parts of the body including the vertebrae, anus, heart, trachea, esophagus, kidney and limbs. Treatment is symptomatic and unique for each person diagnosed with the condition. There is no cure for VATER syndrome.

LETS ALL BIND TOGETHER AND HELP SUPPORT HIS MOTHER IN THIS TIME OF NEED. IN LIU OF FLOWERS OR GIFTS, I AM ASKING FOR DONATIONS TO HELP OFFSET SOME OF THE EXPENSES THAT SHE MAY INCURE.

Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for any donations. I know Dakota is in GOD's hands and we all prayer that GOD comforts his family and loved ones at such a difficult time.
