My father tragically passed away on April 10th at 2:31 a.m. I’m pretty much in shock still. This was very sudden and unexpected, especially considering my dad made his health a priority. I never thought this day would come this soon. You had so much more life to live. I’m shattered. There’s truly no bond like that of a father and his daughter; it runs deep to the core. My first love. This man was a lone wolf but loved his children fiercely. The love he felt for my brother and I was unconditional. No matter how long we’d go without talking, if I needed him, he’d be there. One of a kind man. I’d like to think I’ve got some of my best qualities from him.

Not a day will go by that I don’t think of you.

Your memory will always be a part of me, and I will carry your love with me wherever I go. You’d say this journey is just a right of passage.
