In Loving Memory of Cynthia (Mob Boss) “Everyone’s Grandma”
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Cynthia, who graced this world for 92 years and moved onto her next journey at 4 PM November 5th. Though she was “Grandma” to Sarah Rose and Vincent, she was truly everyone’s grandmother — the steady, grounded presence who made everyone around her feel like family.
Cynthia’s proud Italian heritage carried strength, pride, and a family-first spirit into every aspect of her life. She earned the nickname “Mob Boss” because she always called the shots from a deep sense of care and wisdom that kept everyone connected and in line.
She dedicated her life to LAUSD education and counseling for 50+ years shaping countless lives with her insight, brilliance, and compassion. Even at 92, Cynthia stayed sharp, reading the LA Times front to back every single day.
She was the matriarch and foundation of her family. Life without her feels ungrounded and somber, but her life lessons and presence will continue to steady us.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to honor Cynthia’s remarkable life and help her family during this time of loss.
Your contributions will go toward funeral and memorial and The Fearing Family expenses, allowing us to celebrate her life and legacy in the way she deserves.
Thank you for helping us honor the life of Cynthia — “Mob Boss” — whose influence, wit, and strength will forever guide the family she built.
With love and gratitude,
