On Saturday, September 7, Cyndi Cabalar suffered a cardiac event and did not recover. Her family and friends are devastated by this loss.

Cyndi was a force of nature, a true friend, and the bright light at the center of her family. Cyndi's roots in our community run deep. Cyndi grew up in Grover Beach, attended AGHS, married her high school sweetheart, Joe Cabalar, and raised their 4 children here. Her family, her 4 children and her 5 grandchildren were her proudest achievements.

In Cyndi's 59 years of life, she touched so many people; whether through her work at the hospital, her time running an in-home childcare, her involvement in the community and youth sports or through her many and varied friendships.
