In memory of Curtis Minges

Curtis Minges (63 years old) was tragically taken from his family too early in life. 

Family & Friends of Curt and Elaine Minges.  On early Thursday July 19th Curt had to be air lifted from their home in Tonopah, NV to Reno due to severe Diabetic Ketoacidosis.  While in the ER, Curt went into  full cardiac arrest and did not have a heartbeat for 8 minutes.  He fought for his life for 5 days before unfortunately succumbing to the severity of his condition.  

Curt was loved by so many family members, friends, his Crescent Dunes Solar Project Family, and so many lovely people in their adopted town of Tonopah.  

Being the wonderful person he is, Curt was on the Nevada Organ Donor Registry.  We have received word that he has been able to continue providing for others even after his passing. He’s given someone the gift of sight by donating his blue eyes.  They were also able to take skin for post operative mastectomy patients and burn victims.

We’ve started this account as many have asked how they can help Elaine at this time.  The cost of unexpected travel, hospital bills, and now unfortunately a Memorial service.

We all miss him already.  He loved all of his family and friends.
