In memory of Cuong (John) Duong

On December 19, 2022, a good friend to many members of the Oakville Assembly team, Cuong (John) Duong, passed away unexpectedly in our workplace. John joined Ford of Canada on March 7, 2022, and proudly worked as an Assembler in the Chassis department.

John is remembered as a compassionate, caring, and jovial man. He was known as “a pure soul” that would always go above and beyond in everything he did for his family, his friends, and his colleagues. A loving and supportive husband and father, John will be forever missed and is survived by his wife, Hue (Wendy) Lam, and their two sons, Peter and Eric.

On behalf of Wendy, Eric and Peter, a co-worker has established a “GoFundMe” effort to help the family cover expenses during this difficult time, and to support John’s family in his absence.
