In Memory of Crystal's Mom: Funeral Support

Dear mom,
It was just you and me for so long.
We went through beautiful times and such difficult times, but we always managed. Being a single parent & an only child made life a rollercoaster. There was usually no one to turn to but ourselves. We took care of one another; an adventure that shaped the woman I am today. I pray to God every day that you realize the impact you made in my life & the lives of others. You were humble, kind and so strong. The strongest. I never told you, but I watched you as much as you watched me. You inspired me. As a child, I remember watching you day after day cut and style your dear clients hair. I saw how hard you worked and how kind you were to each and every soul that sat in that chair. Despite your struggles, no matter what you were going through, you never hesitated to show kindness and support. You opened your doors to anyone who needed it, leaving aside all differences & disagreements. You were the best grandmother, the best mother-in-law, the best hairstylist, the best sister, the best daughter. But, above all, you were the best mother. I live to honor your name and everything you built for me, for us.
Until I see you again mami. Save a spot for me in the kingdom of our father.
May it be as beautiful as we always talked about. I love you mami, always.

Dear Friends and Family,
On December 12, 2024, my mom passed away. It has been one of the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She became ill earlier last year, and while we hoped for her recovery, her passing still came so suddenly. My mom was a self-employed hairstylist who worked hard her entire life to support herself & others.
I’ve been hesitant to ask for help, but as I navigate this loss, I’m realizing I can’t do it alone. I feel lost, a part me is gone.
If you feel moved to contribute, any amount would truly help me and my family as we work through this difficult chapter. Even sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
I ask above all that you keep her in your prayers. Thank you for your love and support it means more than you can imagine.
With gratitude,
Crystal, Leo, Daniel & Emma
