In Memory of Crystal Meehan

It is with the heaviest heart to share the loss of our mother, Crystal Meehan, who unexpectedly passed away on July 13th, 2025. It still doesn’t feel real, and it is hard to put into words the emptiness we all are feeling. She was the strongest woman we knew; she always worked hard to care for Delanee, LaRue, and me and loved us beyond measure. Her granddaughter, Camila, was her entire world, whom she absolutely adored. They had a bond that is irreplaceable.

My mom was not only our mom. She was the life of the party anywhere she went. Her laugh was contagious; anyone that knew her, knew love. She loved gardening, she always was wanting to make the house and garden flourish. She loved traveling with her boyfriend, Mike, and going to watch the car races. But, what she loved even more was spending time with her children and her grandchild. She was the kind of person that would drop everything to be someone’s shoulder to lean on, despite her own struggles. She had the biggest heart and the brightest smile. Even on our worst days, we had our mom to lean on no matter what. Our entire family is devastated.

Losing her so suddenly has left us with not only this deep pain in our hearts, deep emptiness, but also the responsibility of trying to give her the funeral she deserves. We just want to lay her to rest peacefully and honor her life the way she deserves.

Anything helps during this time, even just sharing this, as we try to figure out how to move on without her. Thank you for all of the prayers, messages, and love you have shown our way.
