In memory of Craig Coleman
For those that had the privilege of knowing Craig you were instantly drawn to him. He was everyones best friend. His embrace was genuine, his laugh was infectious, and his heart was pure.
Craig looked for the good in everyone and never met a person he didn't like.... well that's not entirely true.. there was this substitute ref at one of our kickball games... that guy he didn't like.
When I reflect back on it though, I don't think it was that Craig didn’t like this guy, it was that this guy would choose to do something that he not only didn't enjoy, but he didn't even try to do it right. You see Craig lived his life trying to enjoy every minute of it whether it was work or personal. He could of done just about anything in life, but he wasn't going to do it unless he enjoyed it, and wouldn't ever do something without giving it his all. Wether that be work or family and friends, he gave all of himself. There was no challenge to hard, no problem that didn't have a solution. He loved making his own way from opening a lawn business as a teenager that he later sold, to being an owner of a Zaxby's, among many other business adventures along the way. He was building a life for himself, Laura, and Logan.
He loved them like no other. They meant the world to him and brought so much joy to his life as he did for them.
He was taken from them and all of us way to soon. He had so much more life to live. Their lives together were really just beginning.
During a time like this there is enough pain and grief to last a lifetime all while trying to manage a household. We would like to take some of that weight off of Laura’s shoulders by helping alleviate some of the financial stresses that go along with the pain and grieving. The last thing Laura should be worrying about is any potential financial needs that may arise.
Even if you are unable to donate we ask that you keep Craig's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
