His smile, his contagious laugh and the way he lit up a room. His annoying a** stories that were always way too long. His way of making sure that everyone was taken care of, no matter what. How he made it his mission to connect and introduce everyone around him to one another. His commitment and loyalty to his friends and family.
These are just some of the many words and phrases used to describe our guy.
Corey was one in a million. Whether you just met him or you’d known him for years, Corey had an unwavering ability to make you feel like you were important. Not just important to him as a friend, but important to the world. No one could gas you up like Corey could. Whether it was your career, your outfit, your jokes, your skills, your hair, your work ethic, your future... Corey made you feel like you had the world at your feet, you were making all the right moves and you were exactly where you needed to be. He truly made you believe that he felt lucky to be your friend.
But it was us, Corey, who were the lucky ones.
Corey’s number one priority (besides wearing tight jeans) was to take care of the people he loves. If he met you once, you were “one of the homies” and you knew he always had your back, no matter what you needed.
It is with a heavy heart that I ask “the homies,” if you are able, to return the favor for our guy. Family is everything to Corey - so please help us in supporting Corey's loved ones by easing the financial burden left on them in laying him to rest.
Any little bit helps. You know Corey definitely bought you a shot of patron at one point or another... let’s return the favor.
