Our hearts hurt, they hurt worse than we ever could even imagine. There's a hole, a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. But there's a peace. A peace that is so hard to understand. Why this overwhelming sense of peace when our hearts hurt to much? As much as we want Connor to walk through those doors one more time, to come bounding up those stairs one more time, to come talk with us, laugh with us, one more time, we know that Connor is at his ultimate home. Connor is where we all long to be one day, where there is no more sadness, there are no more trials, there are no more demons. The peace we feel although our hearts are broken, is coming to us because Connor is safe in the arms of Jesus.
We are leaning on the Lord for strength and peace, trusting that He is close to the brokenhearted and will carry us through this unimaginable time.
We ask for your continued prayers for our family — that God’s comfort, grace, and presence would surround us each day.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayer, and kindness that has been shown to our family.
With Love and Faith,
