In Memory of Colewon Tarvin

Who this will help

Hi, my name is Takisha, daughter of Colewon. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our mother. She was the light and foundation of our family. Unfortunately after 3 years, she lost her battle with cancer but was surrounded and comforted by her loved ones. Throughout her treatments she was always putting smiles on our faces whether it was with her spunk and/or kindness. Her kindness also extended into her profession as a caretaker. She used her medical knowledge to step into the role of primary caretaker for her mother for the last five years. No matter what the circumstances were, our mom was always doing anything to support us and our dreams up until the time of her passing. The legacy she leaves behind instills a high standard of empathy and love for everyone around her and we are so grateful.

Why I'm fundraising

During this difficult time, we are in need of financial assistance to cover the costs of the funeral, memorial and other expenses. In the 3 years of battling her cancer, she lost 2 of her sisters and a brother so we would like to use expenses to celebrate all of their lives as a family as we were unable to during COVID.
