Hi Everyone,

My name is Marlyne Loera, great family friend of the Brooks family.

On behalf of Malissa and her family, it is with a heavy heart and sadness to share that James, her loving husband has recently passed away from a tragic unexpected accident at work.

We truly appreciate the outpour of prayers, love, positive light and support that the Brooks family has been receiving.

James was a good man, a stand-up guy that everyone loved being around. He brightened up the room and always left you smiling. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and coach.

James leaves behind his loving wife, Malissa, and his children, Mckayla, James, Ethan (7) & Lylah (5), who were his pride & joy! If you could just imagine how devastated & heartbroken they are.

James was the sole provider for his family. The Brooks family would greatly appreciate any donations to help with the funeral and memorial services, as well with any financial burdens and day to day expenses for Malissa and the children.

We ask that you continue to keep the Brooks family in your prayers & thoughts as they get through this difficult time.
