Hello everyone ,

My name is Melissa and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Ashley Fitzpatrick, and her incredible mother, Marylou Wear. I know they would never ask nor expect people to contribute but I wanted to reach out to our amazing community and help out in any way we can. Yesterday , Marylou and the family suffered an unimaginable loss—the passing of her husband and best friend. They built a life together filled with love, 5 children , 8 grand children, laughter, and devotion. His absence has left an indescribable void. Along with the emotional heartbreak, she is now facing financial uncertainty that no one should have to endure while grieving.

We are hoping to raise funds to help ease the burden of the funeral costs and remove any unnecessary stress that nobody should have to worry about when burying, remember , grieving a loved one.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a world of difference in giving her the space to grieve without the added weight of financial stress. Some of the proceeds will also go to the charity “prevent drowning foundation in San Diego” in honor of Clint Wear.
