In memory of Cian Griffin, Leukaemia ward 2D
Donation protected
My name is Orla Griffin,
I am setting up this Go Fund me page
In memory of my late brother Cian Griffin who sadly passed away on the 25/07/2020.
This page is to raise money for the 2D ward (leukaemia ward) in Cork University Hospital, Ireland.
Cian was diagnosed at the young age of 26 with leukaemia , he fought this illness for almost 5 years.
Cian was in the 2D ward of the CUH for months and months on end in an isolation room, while he received his treatment.
During these long periods of isolation, the nurses and staff would go above and beyond for all patients and family members.
“You become apart of their family”
Whilst in these isolation rooms, patients need good wifi , fridges with freezer units even just some comfortable chairs , just a few things that can make a person and there family members more comfortable.
Help me raise funds for the this amazing ward,
that kept my brother alive for so many years.
Cian was a kind and gentle person who would want everyone that faces this challenge to have less stressful conditions.
Any donation is appreciated
Thank you from me and my family
