Whether responding to emergencies or offering a quiet word of comfort, Chris lived to help people — a true hero in every sense of the word.

Outside of his uniform, Chris found peace and joy on the water. He was most at home with a cast net in his hand or exploring the ocean through his love of freediving. Tampa Bay was his sanctuary — a place where he could recharge and reflect. Those who knew Chris will never forget his easy smile after a good day on the water or the way his eyes lit up when talking about his next trip to the Florida Keys.

Chris leaves behind his beloved son, Finley, who was the center of his world. The bond they shared was filled with love, laughter, and countless memories of time spent near the water. As we mourn the loss of such a remarkable person, we come together to support his family during this difficult time.

This fund has been created to help cover Chris’s final arrangements and ensure he is honored as he deserves. Any remaining funds will be placed into a college fund for Finley, helping to secure the bright future Chris dreamed of for his son.
