I’m reaching out with a broken heart to share that my partner, the father of our son, tragically lost his life in the unexpected Esparto fireworks warehouse explosion that happened on July 1st in Yolo County. This devastating tragedy has completely shaken our world. Not knowing exactly what happened to him that day makes it even harder to process and accept this loss.  

Chris was not only a loving partner but also an amazing father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was someone who always put others first — selfless, kind, and a truly devoted father. He was a constant source of love, strength, and support to his entire family, whether it was offering a helping hand to friends and family, attending family gatherings, or simply being a shoulder to lean on.
