Chris was born in Westerham, England, and built his life in Lake Peekskill, New York. He spent decades as a woodworker at Hudson River Inlay, restored old BMWs in his driveway, and never missed a chance to swim in the ocean. Anyone who knew him knew his dry British humor and his devotion to his family.

For the past six months, Chris fought hard in the hospital. And for every single one of those days, Anna was at his side. She never missed a day. That is who they were to each other for 33 years, and that is who she was for him until the very end. They should have had many more years together. At 66, Chris was taken far too soon.

Now, as our family navigates the loss of Chris, we are asking for help with the medical bills from his months of hospitalization and the costs of his funeral services. We want Anna to be able to grieve and heal without that weight on her shoulders.

So we are reaching out to everyone whose life Chris touched. His friends from Hudson River Inlay, the families he coached, the neighbors in Lake Peekskill, and everyone in between. If Chris ever made you laugh, built you something, or showed up for you the way he always did, we would be grateful to have you stand with Anna now, the way she stood by him.
