In Memory of Chris Jaramillo & Supporting His Children

If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Chris Jaramillo, you already know he was truly one of a kind and a friend to all. On March 24th, Chris was found passed away in his apartment with an undiagnosed medical concern, leaving behind his 4 children Max, Benjamin, Hallie, and Caden.

Chris was the kind of father who showed up for his children in every possible way, every single day. His kids weren’t just his priority they were his whole world. He poured himself into their lives without hesitation. He helped the older children get out on their own and thrive in their careers, but unfortunately his younger children won’t get that kind of support now that he’s gone.

The Jaramillo family is now facing the unimaginable. Losing a father, a cornerstone, a man who gave so much of himself and there are no words that can soften that kind of grief. If you’ve ever lost someone you love deeply, you know that the pain itself is a full-time burden. And yet, in the middle of that grief, life doesn’t pause. Bills don’t wait. Needs don’t disappear.

That’s where we come in.

As Chris’s community the people whose lives he touched. We have the opportunity to give his family the one thing we can offer right now: breathing room. The space to grieve. The freedom to be present with one another without the weight of financial worry pressing down on top of an already devastating loss.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward Chris’s end-of-life services and the ongoing needs of his younger children because Chris was a parent forever, and his kids still need what every child needs.

None of us can take the pain away, my entire heart wishes we could, but we can be part of the village that holds this family up while they find their footing again.
