Last Thursday, my sister Andy lost the love of her life and her best friend, Chris. Seven beautiful children lost their father, and one baby boy lost his grandfather.

There are no words to describe the breadth and depth of this loss.

I know he can see how the community of friends and family he has built over a lifetime of kindness, generosity, love, and humor is surrounding Andy and the kids.

It is the most amazing gift to have known him.
