Last week, our club lost an absolute legend.

Chris Grove is Rosie’s dad who plays for y5 Bumbles. Sadly last week, unexpectedly, Chris suffered a stroke and this sadly took his life at the age of 38. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Jenna, little boy Beau, and young daughters Daisy and Rosie.

Chris was a massive advocate of our club and supported us with everything we did…. you would find him every Sunday on the sidelines watching Rosie play the sport she loved and the sport he came to love too. As far as netball dads go, he was the best!

Chris will leave a massive hole in the lives of those that had the pleasure of knowing him, and will be sorely missed in our netball family.

We simply cannot imagine what Chris’ family are going through.
