My name is Bronwyn Callahan and I have started this GoFundMe for my sister Shannon and her 13 year old son Christopher.

On February 4th, 2025 Shannon tragically lost her husband due to a motorcycle accident. My sister has lost her husband, her best friend, her soulmate and the father to her children.

We’re raising funds for unexpected funeral costs and to support Shannon and Christopher during this unforeseen time of grief. Any help whether big or small would be a blessing to Shannon and Christopher.

It is with a broken heart that I write this post. My beautiful husband, my soul mate, Christopher Michael Cross, passed away in a motorcycle accident. Chris was many things, but what many may not know is that while he was broken in many ways he was an amazing father to his son Christopher and his step son Brayden Overturf. He was excited to become a grandpa.

He truly was a kind soul when he wanted to be, helping others, especially homeless people and animals, he took care of his friends without fail, he was truly beautiful, taking his trauma and turning it around to be a better father and husband. I was so very proud of him. He loved his family, his cat Loki, his friends, and his job.

I gave permission last night to the hospital to donate what could be salvaged so that my love could help others. He would love knowing he could do that because he was always lending a hand when someone needed it. Chris is and always will be my best friend. I don't know how to live without him, but I have to try. We were married for 14 years, together for 16. He will forever be with me and our boys.
