In memory of Charlie & Aleena McCoy
Donation protected
On the morning of Friday, November 26th, 2021, Charles “Charlie” McCoy Jr. passed away at the young age of 32 after a multiple month long battle with illness post Covid. Heartbreakingly, complications from Covid also took the life of his mother, Aleena McCoy, in early October while he was fighting for his life in the ICU.
Charlie and I met one another when we were 5 years old, and our friendship is something I’ve been blessed enough to have almost my entire life. While he'd always tell you what was on his mind, he was one of the kindest souls you’d ever meet. He always treated me as more of a brother than a best friend. He loved me as a brother should, stood up for me, and protected me from bullies in elementary school. Anytime I needed help, he was always one of the first people to contact me.
He loved his mother, Aleena, and she adored him. Charlie and his father had the type of relationship that every father and son should strive to have. The entire family have always treated me like I was one of their own.
His father is now left alone to take care of the family's small business and continue on without both his wife and son.
If you’re able to, any donation would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. All the proceeds will go to help with funeral expenses for both Charlie and Aleena, as well as any other bills or expenses that will help Charlie Sr. in the time to come.
