Hello all, This is Jackie Ewing.

We recently lost Chad and we’re all still in shock about it. As you may have heard, Chad’s heart failed and he never recovered. Although we are grieving, Chad wouldn’t want us to be down and out.

His presence was felt all throughout the room whenever he entered, and whenever he wasn’t around there was always the question as to where he’s at.

We all have our ups and downs and we’ve all needed help a time or two. Having a strong support system helps with overcoming the difficult times. The battle that Chad fought with alcohol addiction ended up being a loss for me, my family, employees and our friends who truly loved him for who he was and what he stood for.

From talking with his parents, finances are not needed for the funeral, but we decided to raise funds for a local nonprofit organization, The Samaritan Resource Center. This particular organization was very special to Chad and his family. The Samaritan Resource Center helps families and persons who are suffering from homelessness and addiction.

I will be starting the initial donation at $500 and will match every $500 donated until we reach the goal of $5,000.
