In Memory of Ceferina Cruz: Support Her Family

Hello my name is Ashley, I wanted to make this go fund me for my loving mother in law Ceferina Cruz 02/21/1966 that just passed away today on February 11th 2025. This happened all of the sudden and we weren’t prepared at all of this moment too even happen we thought we had more time with her but unfortunately this moment was bound too come she was very sick from a flesh eating disease called (Necrotizing fasciitis) that spread too all her fingers and her legs which they had too amputate her leg. And she also had other medical conditions her kidneys were failing so she had dialysis every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday’s.. she was suffering from a lot of negligence, Davita wouldn’t attend her in time and the place was very dirty and never sterile which we believe is the reason she got the flesh eating disease she also suffered from losing her house which burned down and the insurance never even repaired.

We are living from day to day struggling too have a place too stay with her son Jonathan Cruz, and her husband. Thank god they were okay and made it out alive due to my husband, he dragged his father out and got 2nd to 3rd degree burns.

As a family we suffered enough and ask too help us in this time in need . There’s so much more too say on how the hospitals treated her and how they wouldn’t attend too her needs and just that “she was fine” so many hospital visits just too watch her die cause nobody was doing they’re job correctly and turn the other way instead of helping.

She would of never got her leg amputated if it wasn’t because davita and memorial Herman.

She suffered an unknown disease which she had for almost 5 years which made her have continuous diarrhea.

The negligence is real with Davita Dialysis Clinic she would ask for meds to contain her stomach but they would lie to her and never received said medication so they sent her home with full diaper because no one at that place would wanna deal with changing her.

Her very last visit she only did less than an hour and when it’s supposed to be 4-5 hours.

Reason supposedly it’s because she moved the needle when in reality it because she had defecated on her self and no one wanted to deal with her. They are very neglectful which will not change the fact that she did suffer when she was getting “treated”.
