In memory of Catalina Chavez

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my Mother Catalina Chavez, who left us on Saturday, December 14, after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Leaving behind family and friends who loved her both here in the United States and in Mexico. Throughout her struggle, Catalina kept her diagnosis and the challenges she faced mostly private, never wanting to burden or worry those around her. Her strength and determination to protect her loved ones from her own pain reflect the kind of person she is selfless, loving, and extraordinarily brave. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to help cover funeral expenses, medical bills, and to assist family as we navigate through this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we honor the memory of Catalina Chavez.

Con gran dolor, anuncio el fallecimiento de mi madre, Catalina Chávez, quien nos dejó el sábado 14 de diciembre, después de una larga y difícil batalla contra el cáncer.
