As I write this, I hope that my words convey the great love we all have for Casey. A man who loved others fiercely, who would give his shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He went without many times so someone would have what they needed. His biggest passion was to make others smile and laugh!
From 15 years old, Casey was a DJ, first for KBER, and then just within the last few years, a DJ for Iheart radio. He has such a enormous passion for this and felt that he was able to reach many people through each and every broadcast, and in so doing, could maybe make someone elses' load lighter or make their day brighter with the power of music.
He also owned his own company where he fixed Haas heavy machinery and met so many wonderful friends through that. Casey has friends and knew people anywhere he went. He was indeed a great man with a great heart and who will be so deeply missed by so many.
In 2014, Casey lost his beloved daughter, Tawnee, when she was murdered on the I-15 by her girlfriend. She was stabbed 46 times. Casey had dealt with that profound loss for the past 14 years the very best way he knew possible. Just last weekend, he, Julie and I went to the Grizzlies hockey game and it was Cancer Awareness night and he got a tattoo, first one ever, that said, "Tawnee" with a ladybug. He is now reunited with her and at peace.
In 2018, he met the love of his life, Julie. They were married August of 2021. They had a deep and genuine love that not too many get to experience in this life. Julie's heart is broken.
This will leave a significant financial burden on Julie, in which, I am hoping we can all help relieve that for her by donating. Any money you can help with, for Funeral expenses, and some other financial things that will come up for Julie would be so greatly appreciated. This is set up to go directly to Julie's account so she can pay for everything that will be needed.
To Casey, my "bestie husband", I am so thankful that I met up with you and Julie last weekend for the Grizzlies game. You put your arm around me and told me how much you loved me. I will cherish that forever. You had a way to make everyone around you feel so loved! Your heart was so big!
Please keep Julie and her kids in your prayers and thoughts at this time. Julie lost her true best friend and hubby and her kids sure did love him too ❤️
