In Memory of Case Ivan Clare

On February 2, 2021, a heartbreaking tragedy struck our family. Our dear sweet beloved Case Clare unexpectedly lost his life. Our family is broken during this hour of need and grief. God gifted us with 17 years of having Case here on earth with us, before calling him home to be with our Lord. Case was the only son and child of John and Amber Clare. Their entire worlds centered around their precious son. Case had a spirit that shined so bright, that it brought joy and laughter to all that were around him. Those that knew Case loved his fun loving, crazy energetic, kind and caring spirit. He was a best friend to many and one of the most loyal young men to ever be known. Case never left anyone out in life. He was the favorite, “big kid,” cousin to all of his younger cousins and was viewed as a brother/son to many. During his leisure time, Case loved dirt bike riding and practicing new stunts. Case was currently working alongside his father, mother and paternal grandfather and grandmother, on their family farm. He was a hard worker and enjoyed helping his family. Case’s participated in football for many years and also ran track for a short time. While Case loved and excelled in sports, his passion was hunting and fishing. Case hunted from dusk to dawn, right alongside his beloved best friend/pet dog Drake. Case spent many hours fishing family ponds with his cousins. He was an active member in 4-H. He showed steers, and entered crops and other projects. Case also participated in 4-H shooting sports along with Kansas YHEC (Youth Hunter Education Program.) Case excelled in the YHEC program and competed at the national level. Case made many great friends along the way. Case had plans to attend Pratt Community College where he planned to earn a degree in the Wildlife Outfitting and Operations Program. Upon graduation from the program Case had planned to be an Outfitter and give guided hunts. He had such a bright future ahead of him that was cut too short. With broken hearts we ask for our community to come together and show John and Amber the love and support that they desperately need and deserve during their time of need and brokenness. We are asking friends and family that so chose, to please donate whatever they can or so chose too, to help ease the financial burden that John and Amber are now facing. They need our love. With our sincerest thank you. May God watch over and bless us all.
