On November 29, 2025, our dear friend Caryn passed away after a courageous 6-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She passed away peacefully in her home after spending precious time with her family. Our hearts are broken as Caryn made life so much better with the love she so freely gave and her genuine heart. She truly was one of the most loving, fun-hearted, kind, authentic souls one could know. Caryn loved her family above all else, and they are deeply grieving her loss. They also feel that sting of death taken up, knowing they will be reunited once again with Caryn because of Jesus Christ’s atonement.

As friends who have been blessed by Caryn and the Somerville family’s kindness, love, and service over the years, we created this GoFundMe to help with funeral and memorial expenses. This support is intended to ease some of the burden, so Caryn’s family can focus on spending time together during this time of grief.
