In loving memory of Carrie Hunsicker.

Carrie Michele Hunsicker, 51, of Powells Point, North Carolina, passed away on February 2, 2026, after a courageous five-year battle with Multiple Myeloma, a form of blood cancer. She leaves behind a loving family and many friends.

Carrie was the very definition of love. She was a wonderful and loving wife to her husband, Bernie. She was a steady partner, a best friend and a source of strength and warmth in her home. Carrie was also a devoted mother to her twin daughters, Mia and Chloe. She built her life around her family. No matter how hard she worked or how demanding her career became, she was always present — at games and events, at the dinner table, in the quiet moments and the big ones. Her family was her heart.

Outside of her family, Carrie built a successful career working in finance at a major technology company that was cut short with her passing. She was respected there for her intelligence, integrity and work ethic. She was loved and respected by many colleagues over the years.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping provide for the girls, 11-year-old twins Mia and Chloe. The intent is to create a fund that will ensure a stable future for them and contribute to their education.
