In memory of Carmen J. Mendez: a beacon of light for us all

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support during this difficult time. Our mom was not just our mom; she was our best friend, a devoted wife to our dad Marcelino, and a lifelong partner. Her absence leaves a void that is deeply felt, but we are so grateful for the time we had with her. We find solace in knowing she is now in a better place, free from pain.

Mom had a profound impact on so many lives. She was truly a beacon of light and joy to everyone who knew her. Her infectious smile and unmatched sense of humor brightened our days and will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Many of you have reached out, wanting to help and inquire about services. In honoring Mom’s wishes, she chose not to have any services; she wanted everyone to remember her as she was, not how she left us. Therefore, we will not be holding a service or memorial, as we wish to respect her final wishes.
