In memory of Carmelo Prestano

We are devastated by the unexpected passing of Carmelo Prestano. Carmelo was a miracle in so many ways…to have gone through so much because of his rare congenital heart defect which was once unsurvivable and live such a full life. He adored his wife & 2 beautiful sons, loved being a nurse and caring for his patients & although he knew his life was unpredictable he was always smiling & upbeat . He was one of the most caring and selfless people I knew & It was always such a joy to be around him. You could talk to him about anything & everything & he could always find something funny to say. Above all he was a warrior who lived every day to the fullest for his family. I have set up a fund for those of you who would like to show your support to Gina and her children as they mourn the loss of a wonderful husband and devoted father, and to help Joey and Melo fund their college education.
