On behalf of the Garcia family, I want to start by telling you that this is being set up in honor of Carlos Martin Garcia. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and mentor to the community that he also worked in. All the funds collected will go towards his funeral cost and paying off his medical bills that accumulated during the course of his treatment.

In April of 2020, Carlos was first diagnosed with cancer. After battling the disease for years, it metastasized and spread throughout his entire body. He had several treatments that he continued to go through to fight for his family. He was doing chemotherapy, radiation, amino therapy, and a couple of different surgeries in the process. Carlos was a fighter up until his last breath, surrounded by the ones he loved the most on Sunday, July 21st, when we lost Carlos Martin Garcia to his battle with cancer.
