Hello, we are Dawn and Mel Hummel from Hummel’s Pub. Today we lost one of our beloved Hummel’s family members, Carl Garland. We are raising funds to help Shane with Carl’s end of life expenses and memorial. Carl was our bartender, friend and one of the nicest men you would want to meet! Carl was also the lifelong friend of Shane Turnbeaugh. Not long ago, Carl was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was fighting a battle to maintain his quality of life to spend his remaining time with his sister, 2 daughters, and his precious grandaughters, as well as his friends. Shane stayed by his side every day and was by his side today when Carl took his final breath and his soul went peacefully to heaven. We hope those of you who can help, to please donate to lessen this burden on Shane. Losing loved ones is never easy, and we are forever grateful to everyone who is able to help during this difficult time. Carl’s celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced in the next few days.
