Yesterday afternoon, our family received the kind of phone call that changes your life forever. My daughter Camila and my mother in law Angelica, were on vacation in Mexico when they were involved in a terrible bus accident on their way to Villachuato, Michoacán.

Our sweet Camila passed away instantly. There are no words to describe the pain of losing her. She was so loved, and our hearts are completely broken. We still can't believe she's gone.

Angelica was seriously injured and is still in the hospital waiting for surgery. While she's fighting to recover from her injuries, she's also trying to cope with the unimaginable loss of her granddaughter.

Our family is doing everything we can to be there for them, but we are facing expenses we never expected. The money raised will help cover Angelica's medical care and surgery, Camila's funeral expenses, and the cost of bringing my sweet Camila home to the United States so she can be laid to rest with her loved ones.

Ayer por la tarde, nuestra familia recibió la llamada que nadie quisiera recibir. Mi hija Camila y mi suegra Angelica estaban de vacaciones en México cuando sufrieron un trágico accidente de autobús mientras viajaban hacia Villachuato, Michoacán.

Nuestra querida Camila perdió la vida de manera instantánea. No existen palabras para describir el dolor tan grande que sentimos. Era una niña muy querida, llena de vida, y su partida ha dejado un vacío imposible de llenar. Todavía no podemos creer que ya no esté con nosotros.

Angelica sobrevivió al accidente, pero sufrió heridas de gravedad y continúa hospitalizada esperando una cirugía. Mientras lucha por recuperarse físicamente, también enfrenta el dolor más grande que una familia puede vivir: la pérdida de su nieta.

Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarla, pero los gastos son muy grandes e inesperados. Los fondos recaudados ayudarán a cubrir los gastos médicos y la cirugía de Angelica, los servicios funerarios de Camila y el costo de trasladar su cuerpo a los Estados Unidos para que pueda descansar junto a su familia.
