In memory of Calvin a beloved family member.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”

Calvin was a young cherished family member taken suddenly whilst playing in the safety of his back garden. A loose dog broke through the fence securing the garden and began an unprovoked and vicious attack. Calvin was dragged to a neighbouring garden by the dog where the attack continued until the owners could intervene.

He was rushed to the vet for emergency intervention and was made comfortable while the correct treatment plan was formulated. Shortly after, he underwent emergency surgery for significant injuries to his abdomen - resulting in the need to remove a large proportion of his intestines. He suffered Liver and Lung damage.

After a four-and-a-half-hour operation and the best efforts of the vets, the poor little fella's heart stopped. CPR was unsuccessful and Calvin passed away.

The loss of a family pet leaves a hole in your heart that never heals.

Regardless of the outcome, the vet's fees accumulated and while we may not be able to cover it all, as friends and fellow pet owners, we can help. I don't know what the bill is so have set a target of £5000.

All funds raised will be used to cover the cost of the fees.

No amount of money will bring him back but please donate what you can to help out at this most difficult time for Calvin's family.
