Words are very hard to find right now. Thank you for everyone's gracious support during this time.
Caleb E. Spater, 22, of Boston, MA, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025. Caleb was the beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of many.
The cherished son of Edward and Karen Spater and loving brother of Isabel Spater. Caleb brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew him. He was the treasured grandson of Lawrence and Judith Bernstein and Albert Spater, and the devoted nephew of Sheryl and Marc Kaye and Shirley Spater.
Caleb found deep purpose in his work as an Emergency Services Associate at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where his empathy and dedication shone every day. His patients and colleagues alike admired his genuine kindness and calm presence. Outside of his professional life, Caleb was a spontaneous and courageous traveler, always ready to explore the unknown and embrace new experiences with a sense of adventure that inspired those around him.
He had a special love for animals and held a deep bond with his dogs, Sam and Sargent. One of his greatest joys was creating memories with his family that will forever live on. Caleb was also an officer of his local chapter of the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA), where he generously dedicated countless hours in service to a cause close to his heart.
In accordance with his family's wishes, arrangements will be private. Those who wish to honor Caleb's memory may do so through our go fund me account.
Caleb's boundless compassion, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for those around him will never be forgotten. He will be dearly missed. May his memory be for a blessing.
