In Memory of Caitlin ❤️

Caitlin, our beautiful Caits, was tragically taken from us far too soon.

Caitlin was travelling with her 11-month-old little girl, Hallie, on their way to a family holiday when they were involved in a devastating car accident. Tragically, Caitlin did not survive.

There are simply no words to describe the devastation the family is facing. Caitlin was a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was known and loved by so many people, and the heartbreak of losing her is impossible to put into words.

Our only comfort is the beautiful little girl she leaves behind.

Hallie turns one next month. Her first birthday should be a day filled with love, laughter and memories made with her mummy. Instead, it will be the first of so many milestones that Caitlin will never get to witness.

Hallie will grow up without her mummy by her side, to watch her take her first steps, celebrate her first day at school, guide her through life and be there for all the moments that every mum dreams of sharing with her child.

Being a mum was all Caits ever wanted. Hallie was her world, and she was so incredibly proud to be her mummy. It is heartbreaking to know that she will not get to see the little girl she adored grow up.

We want to do everything we possibly can to make sure Hallie always knows just how incredibly loved her mummy was.

This GoFundMe page has been set up in Caitlin's memory to help her family with the funeral costs and, most importantly, to establish a fund for Hallie. We hope that this will provide her with some financial security and a helping hand as she grows up, giving her the opportunity to build her future and hopefully ease some of the financial burden she may face along the way.

Since losing Caitlin, we have been overwhelmed by the love and support shown by the people who knew her. Visiting her places of work and seeing the outpour of messages and support across local social media has made one thing incredibly clear, Caitlin is loved. She is loved by so many, in the same way that we, her family, love her.

Caitlin's life was heartbreakingly short, but the love she gave and the memories she created will stay with us forever.
