In Memory of Caitlin Turney
Donation protected
Friends, I'm reaching out for your help.
One or more members of the Turney Family have been good to all of us over the years and it's our turn to give back.
Caitlin Turney, the youngest of the 5 Turney kids, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 29 on December 19th continuing what has been a very trying year for the Turney Family following the loss of their father David earlier in 2016. Here is the link to the obituary: http://www.cliffordshoemaker.com/obituaries/Caitlin-Turney/#!/Obituary
As you can imagine, the cost of two very unexpected funerals in one year is a burden that is very difficult for a family to bear without the support of generous people like you.
Instead of sending flowers, we are hoping to give a sizeable love gift to the Turney Family to use as they see fit during this trying time. In this season of love and giving, please consider a cash gift for the Turney family through this Go Fund Me page.
Every dollar we raise will go straight to the Turney Family. I will transfer the funds to them by the first week of January to ensure we have enough time for people to donate. Donations can be anonymous if you choose but we'll give the family a list of those who donate on the record for them to appreciate all of the love and support.
For context, my name is Chris Schmitt and my wife Melissa and I have had the pleasure of working with Jon Turney as members of the Buckeye Boys State Staff for the past decade. Outside of the program, we've loved getting to know the whole Turney family and experience their kindness and generosity first hand. Jon has been a big brother and mentor for our son Ethan and we'll never be able to thank him enough for the hours that he's given being a part of our extended family.
Thank you for your consideration. Please contact me through the Go Fund Me message feature if you have any questions and I'll be glad to set up a time to talk.
-Chris
