Hi, my name is Angelena, and I am raising funds to support my brother, Michael, and his 3-year-old daughter, Ruth, after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Caitie.

In June 2025, Caitie passed away after a courageous 19-month battle with triple-negative breast cancer. She was only 35 years old when she was diagnosed, and yesterday, October 1st, would have been her 37th birthday. Caitie was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a best friend to so many. Her strength and light touched everyone who knew her.

Now, my brother is navigating life as a single father, carrying the weight of grief while raising Ruth, who will turn 3 this month. Ruth was Caitie’s entire world, and it is my hope to help ease some of the burdens my brother faces so that he can focus on being the best dad possible.

The money raised will go toward:

• Covering Ruth’s daycare for one year ($12,000) to provide stability and relief

• Paying off their family car for financial security

• Helping with unpaid medical bills from Caitie’s fight

• Covering essentials for Ruth as she grows up

• And, if possible, starting a college fund so Caitie’s legacy carries into her daughter’s future
