In Memory of Bryanna: Fund for Jackson & Eli

Donation protected
On September 16, 2022, our world was turned upside down with the sudden and devastating loss of Bryanna (Bonna Blue, Bons, Bonna, Bre) Jones. To have known Bryanna is to love her; her infectious giggle, sparkling baby blue eyes, and genuine smile were just a few of the reasons people were drawn to her. To know her was also to know that Eli and Jackson were the center of her world and we know that she would want them to be set up for a successful future. To that end, Bryanna’s family and close friends are putting this fundraiser together to assist with costs related to Eli and Jackson’s future education.

The boys have a bright future and with your help we can ensure that they have the future they deserve and the ability to carry on their parent’s legacy. Eli is six and just started kindergarten and Jackson is two- both boys are a shining testament to what a sweet soul Bryanna was. We know that Bryanna would rest easy knowing that the boys will be supported in all ways and that we make sure they never forget her and what light she was in this dark world.

Please consider contributing to Eli and Jackson’s education fund to help secure the bright future that they deserve.

Love and light,

Bryanna’s family and friends

Bryanna Nicole Jones, 28, passed away unexpectedly September 16, 2022. Bryanna “Bonna Blu” was born on April 7, 1994. Bryanna was a loving mother to her sons, Eli Ray Case and Jackson Grant Adams, who meant the world to her.

Bryanna brightened the room with her smile, and her infectious laughter was the sound of joy itself. Bryanna graduated from Charlotte High School in 2012. Bryanna most recently worked as a server at Longhorn Steakhouse and as a bartender, server, and cook at Mike’s Sport’s Page in Charlotte. She also worked for several years as a barista at Biggby, where she was loved by her coworkers and appreciated by her regulars for remembering their orders by heart and making the strongest coffee known to man. Her bright spirit and quick wit made her a natural in the service industry. She loved the fast-paced environment and all the social aspects involved in working with people. A fan of the 2 spot, Bryanna enjoyed playing Keno with her friends and regulars at the bar. Her bubbly sweetness made every guest feel like a friend and every friend feel like a loved one.

Helpful and kind, Bryanna was a fierce and loyal supporter of her friends, truly having the back of those that she loved. Genuinely one of a kind, Bryanna was unique, smart, crazy, and unapologetic. She was deeply empathic, nonjudgmental, and always tried to make the best out of any circumstance.

Bryanna was preceded in death by her loving partner, Grant Timothy Adams and her father, Randy Jones.

Bryanna is survived by her sweet sons, her loving mom, Stacy Bowerman & Nate Scramlin, devoted brother Liam Bowerman & Autumn Richardson, sisters, Alexis & Lindsey Jones, brother, Ray, grandparents Jack & Mary Sandborn, Kathy & Dave VanDerske, Randy & Tonja Jones, Grant’s parents, Tim and Lori Adams, her favorite aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of other relatives and loved ones whose lives will remain forever changed by having known and loved Bryanna’s beautiful soul. Bryanna will be especially missed by her forever besties, Brooke Ackley and Sara Spinner.

Bryanna was a passionate lover of music, a shared interest that drew her to Grant. She studied song lyrics like a science. A frequent concert-goer, Bryanna prided herself on her fledgling vinyl collection. She loved all things tie-dyed. Bryanna was a free-spirited artist who found beauty, even in the darkest of spaces. She loved to cook and treated those she loved to her special recipe. She was an aspiring traveler who traversed the country more than most her age, including visits to the sunny south, Music City, Las Vegas, the arid southwest, and all over her great home state of Michigan. Always a fan of a fun time, Bryanna enjoyed trying her luck at the casino and exploring the great outdoors. She had a fondness for waterfalls and found interest in tarrot cards and the study of astrology. Deeply intuitive, Bryanna was constantly searching the universe for all kinds of signs. She believed that everything happens for a reason. While her loved ones continue to search for the meaning in their heartbreakingly devastating loss, they will forever seek the universe for signs of her bright, shining soul, radiating her love from the great beyond.

A Celebration of Bryanna’s Life and spirit will be held at Lehman Funeral Homes in Portland, MI on Wednesday, September 28th with the service to begin at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, Bryanna’s family requests that contributions in her name be made to the education fund for her sons, Eli and Jackson, in her honor and memory: https://gofund.me/d6a41ed3.
